most the alarms on ebay are good but insurance dont count it as a cat 1 unless an imi level 2 eletrican with alarm cert fits a thatcham 1 alarm lol

ive fitted 3 alarms now theyre easy to do just take ur time and get an ideal for how the circuit works

Didn't do much today, got a few things from town to start off with  :

Then I started going about getting all the wires disconnected from everything, and tracing them back ;) :

Wire taken back as far as I got them today:

Did a little more on the mini today, managed to get all the wiring inside the car:

All of it out of the engine bay  :

And when I say all of that, I realised I might have made a little mistake in doing it :ermm: , but once I had got started on sorting it all out, it was going well. Found a few fuses had gone and need to get a new relay, this one:

That goes here:

Not sure what it does :w00t: , but it has had it.

Just bought some binding cable wrap, to put around all the wire when I'm done, connected most of the wires back up, some of them are a bit tight at the moment  , but they might free up a little when everything is done, but if not, I will solder an extra bit of wire in them to free them up a little :) .

halfrauds or the scrappy

I'll try Halfords, don't really want to try a scrappy, as they seem pretty delicate, so a new one would be better  .
