They do look good, nice and subtle, but also serving a purpose.

They do look to be mounted a little funny. Seem to be tilted too far back. It would help if you could drop the seats down to the middle or top hole at the front mounting, as yours are at the highest setting at the front, which would raise the front and therefore tilt them back slightly. Also, your mount seems in a different place to mine for some reason. Yours is on the crossmember accross the floor, where mine is at the front of the crossmember in the footwell side?
I'll have a look when I'm next over to see how yours is compared to mine, just out of interest.

Haha cheers, I couldn't put them on any other hole, that caught on the bracket thing on the crossmember, and they are on the front of the crossmember, not on it, its just the way the picture is lol. Might have to mod them a bit then to get them to fit :) .

Looking at your bottom picture again, your front seat mount is in the same place as mine, it just looked weird, although it prob will help to drop the seat down one or two holes at the front Posted Image

This turned up yesterday:

It is for the top engine steady. I goes where it connects to the block, and it is for ones where the holes/bolts have been n*ckered. The thread on my hole is shot, so this is to save drilling and re-tapping the block ;D .

Did more today :withstupid: , got more of the wiring done, just got to get a relay, a 20A fuse, wire the fuse holder thing up and sort all the wires out. So this is how the engine bay looked at the end of today:

Posted Image

The inside wiring is still very messy :genius: , but going to charge the battery up then test them everything still works, then get the alarm and central locking in :genius: .

Then I decided to was and polish my mini:

She looks good :o . I have also considered going totally bumper-less :mrcool: . As the front seems easy to do, and I really could do with a new rear valance, so could add it into the job ^_^ . And then it will need to be sprayed, so I could also get all the scratches and bubbles done too :P . I'm really looking into it :o .

Then me and James (1275 SPRITE) went over to see camp freddy's mini, and its looking good :genius: . But on the way home, well, lets just say cars don't run on air very well ;D .

Not a lot done today, these arrived:

My hazzard relay and sound proofing. Didn't do much as I just sorted out some more of the wiring, and sat I though about want I was going to do with the air vent holes, and I've decided I'm just going to fibre glass over them, there is no need for them :D . I will charge the battery tomorrow night so I can test everything out Thursday, then I can get soundproofing the bulkhead, etc, then get the alarm in ;) .

Did more work on my mini today, got mist of the electrics finished, just need to get one spade connector, and charging my battery at the moment ready to test them all tomorrow >_< . If all is working well, I can get started on the alarm, etc. So here is how the wiring looked at the end of today:

Posted Image

Not the tidiest :dontgetit: , but getting there lol. Also moved the fuse box thing to a nice hidden dry place:

Posted Image

Under the dash rail, in the passenger footwell, looks good :- . Also got these to put into my dash:

Posted Image

Should be good, so got to get the dash drilled and cut out ready to put them in :dontgetit:.
