Nice work here, going to be a flyer!
Rocker could should come up nicely with a bit of sanding and polish like you said. You going to do something with the alternator housing or are keeping bare metal? I think it looks good in an engine bay to keep some areas bare metal or the muck and grime show very easily.
Must be good living so close to MED just popping in as and when you need a problem sorting or have the feeling to splurge!

And trying to get there when they are open as they close at 4pm and aren't open at weekends
PS alternator looks nice, should brighten up the engine bay, and go with the other blue bits, like the block and head

How come you are keeping the belts in when you're getting harnesses? Just seems a bit strange thats all lol.

Probably the same reason that I did the same, because its annoying to strap into harnesses to go a couple of miles to the shops
