Yeah true, just tell him they are purely for reliability , and that the cam kit has no effect on performance what so ever

Haha I think my Dad will king of know what they can do, he has had 3 minis lol.

Not much of an updat really, but managed to get through to Mini Spares today, finally , anyway they are going to send me another new gudgeon pin, hopefully the right size this time, should come by the end of the week .

Also trying to sort out a head and gearbox at the moment too .

And some bad news, no work on the mini for two weeks . I can't do any work on it this week, as I have LOADS of college work to get done , and next week I'm going London and Wales with work, but when I get back, I'll crack on . But I'll be having TMF running in the background while I'm doing college work, so I can reply to your comments .

So I'm back , and some work can begin during the week . But before I went away, I ordered a few things . SO here they are, in order of how good they are :

First I got some nice material to cover the back seats with:



Not really what I was expecting, but I'll see how it goes, so not a big problem .

Next was some nice EDIS Mega Jolt Stuff :



It included the EDIS unit, the coil pack, HT leads, the cranshaft sensor and all the wiring. I paid a little more than I have seen them for, but thought once I have it, thats it out the way .

Next up is a nice gauge I bought:



Yep thats it, a nice boost gauge. Its one bar, so if I run about 8psi, thats about half a bar, so will be running in the yellow, should look good when its working .

Then one of the top purchases of the week:



A nice single skin fibreglass boot , it looks great and I can't wait to get it on .

A finally, I picked this up today:





Oh yes, a show roll cage . I have been looking fo one of these for ages, it is from Hudderfield Spares and they don't sell them anymore. I paid a little more than I wanted to, but I have it now. But I'm not sure weather I should polish it up and leave it, or srapy it white , what do you think?

That gauge wont work because it's only for a turbo lol. Just kidding, looks good man, gunna have to get turbo scrubbed out though and put supercharger on

Haha, nah, I would prefer to see it in my mini, as I'll only be 'doing' the Saxos in my mini .

Haha, yer, it is very light lol. I thinks it only made out of aliminum. Its only a show cage, no not expecting much in the way of safety from it really lol .

Yer lol, I tried everywhere to get a decent one without 'Turbo' on it, but all the ones that didn't were rubbish, so thought "Screw it!" and just went for the TIM one...plus it will match all my others .

Haha I don't aim to , the way I think of it, if you go quick enough, you miss the crashes .

Should tidy up the exterior a treat with the smooth boot, and finnish off the interior look with the cage! (I'd pollish up too, and if you dont like it spray it)

If you find a different gauge you like, I'll buy the gauge off you (thats the same one I'm getting)

Now you have most of your MJ bits now, we can start to look into the wiring side and do them at the same time, should make it a bit easier!

I can find loads of gauges, but none are of good quality, or they are like 2 bar, and been as the supercharger will be giving out a max of about 0.7 bar, it will hardly be up the sale . Yer and we definatly have to start looking at wiring...again .

We have all of the EDIS stuff now, thanks anyway, but if you could get any cheap MegaJolt ECUs, that would be great lol.
