I saw a lot of his stuff up for sale in classifieds, think he's given up to be fair.. haven't talked to or seen him in ages.

I'm a bit guttted... jsut spent a good hour reading this from start to finish and he has given up!? Come on ... I wanted to see what it was looking like now

This is a shame, but I know from my own experience that a project is a major thing and not the easiest thing to see through to the end. Mine has tax and mot now, but still not finished. Doesn't run right, doesn't handle right, needs tyres, trim, it leaks, needs carpet..... the list goes on. And if time isn't an issue then money can be. Still, cant wait to start my next mini

Damn, I've just read the whole topic and loved it as I was thinking of doing this to one of my mini and really wanted to see how this turned out and now its dead?? Well it was an intresting read anyways so thanks and I loved the work you put into it. Shame its died if it has..

dont give up! 2 of my project's never got finised and I always get S*** for it down the pub. I now am going to start another project mini and will see it to the high reving end!

Just to update you all, the mini is now sold, and everything other than the shell, i.e. engine bits are all for sale.
One good thing though is my Brother's friend bought it and is completing it for his brothers first car. He has already stripped it to a shell, debumpered the rear, repaired the boot floor and bought some wide arches for it! He has only had it a week.
I'll try and get him on here to start a thread to show what he is doing.
