She said: "There are a lot worse things she could be doing. We've all got to die sometime. I haven't got cancer from smoking so she'll probably be all right anyway."

She believes her daughter's behaviour is down to the teachers at her school who were "too soft" with her.

The mother (?) needs shooting...

Unfortunatly all this is true and happening all over the country...

...I know of a man how se*ually abused his 4 kids from and early age, but is still allowed to have them living under his roof... scott free...

Lovely.....I cant wait till the little tart gets knocked up and my tax money can go to feed and clothe them! I've said it once and I'll say it again....people like that family deserve to fed into a woodchipper in full view of the sh*t hole estate they probobly live in as an example to others.
Sadly social pigs like this family are no longer in the minority they are growing more and more every day........god how I wish I was prime minister for a day!!

Ah Gosport, know it well, just before you reach the upside down burning cop cars next to the "Welcome To Portsmouth" sign, they must have moved the borders due to Chav expantion

No one can disapline kids and they have no respect for anything or anyone.

It is a nanny state we live in unfortuatelykicked off by a load of do gooders who did not see the big picture.

She will be a mother of six in a five bedroom house funded by us by the time she is twenty!!

We all just stand for it

Yes they can, and many parents do it very well.

It is a nanny state we live in unfortuatelykicked off by a load of do gooders who did not see the big picture.

And what is the big picture?

She will be a mother of six in a five bedroom house funded by us by the time she is twenty!!

Maybe.

We all just stand for it

So what do you suggest we do about it?

So many times I've seen people post 'And we do nothing to stop it', or 'And we all just take it', etc etc, without so much as an idea of their own.

Yes they can, and many parents do it very well. Yes parents can do it if they bring up there own kids and don't farm out the up bringing to nanny's / after school clubs etc. I am told that I am over strict on my son but unlike many of his friends he does know right from wrong and does respect elders etc.

It is a nanny state we live in unfortuatelykicked off by a load of do gooders who did not see the big picture.

And what is the big picture? If you take away the authority that teachers, club leaders friends paremts even police have then the kids show no respect and have no censequence or hardships for there actions.

She will be a mother of six in a five bedroom house funded by us by the time she is twenty!!

Maybe. A bit stereotypical I agree!!

We all just stand for it

So what do you suggest we do about it? I know it may sound barbaric but when it was in force we did not have the problems we have now. We need strong deterents for bad or unacceptable behaviour.
Bring back Disaplin in schools, borstals (how they used to be not the TV in room version that they have now)corporal punishment How many 16 years old would think it is cool to carry a knife it they got reduced to tears in an organised and regulated dissapline?
The biggest issue is that people have no shame now. If you embarassed your parents and caused shame on them your life would be pretty miserable for a while (a great deterent) but now if you get taken home in a police car it is like a badge of honour to some families!!
