What pistons are you using? I am using Fiesta 1100 crossflows in mine (Hepolite pistons).......1400cc standard everything except 74mm overbore awaiting piston rings....

Firstly the Fester is a Ford, nuff said. And if you think a normal car is a Fiesta then you are dis illusionedwhy not just get a normal car like a fiesta ?
I have a company car, a 55 plate Renault laguna Sport Tourer and the wife has a 02 plate Seat Arosa S which we own. So why would I even want to own a fiesta, not that I would, its a Ford.
The Mini , again which we own, is More of a toy and gets used in the evenings and at week ends when its driveble, its as much a hobby as it's a car.
So the question I want to ask is, are you one of these Fiesta owners that has fitted full body skirts, DTM spoilers, big flash wheels, stupidly big tail pipe that you could fit your head in, diamond tail lights, neon under car lights, illuninated washer jets and read Max power and Fast Car magazines for the naked tarts flashing thier tits and the 'how to' wire that amp and boom box sections.
And if so what are you doing registering on a forum called The Mini Forum, your user name says it all, ihaveasmall BRAIN :nugget:
because with a question like that, thats the first impression I get, and it aint a good one.

Edit: :nugget: You mean the 74mm ones. I managed to get hold of a brand new set of Omega pistons. When they turned up some of the rings were broken

aaah, I meant for the 1400 lol. :grin:Standard turbo pistons(plenty around and cheep as chips) with a clearance cut for the valves :cheese:
wrong project though! you gonna start another thread for the 1400 bad boy

EDIT after MS EDIT:
Oooh cool, I am using Fiesta stuff in mine and luckily the rings are in good nick. I could measure the thickness of the rings for future reference and see if they would be any good for the omegas.
