Just to add, the Vmax kit IMO is excellent value. The superchargers may be cheap from the likes of ebay but it's not just a matter of bolting it on, there's a lot of work involved. Stuart is selling a proven system that has taken hour and hours of his time to develope, when you consider the kit also contains a cylinder head and you can take your car to him for fitting and rolling road setup, i'd say it's worth every penny.
Hat's off to you sir !

So what is actually NEEDED to supercharge an engine? Just a supercharger, belts/pulleys and manifold?

Basically yes, as it's a suck through system you can use your existing carb. Think you'll need a decent electric fuel pump and regulator as well.

So you could do it fairly cheap? If the supercharger is only £250, and the belts/pulleys and manifold can't be too much as well as the fuel pump and regulator?
