im 22, wanted one since i was about 11 and saw a yellow gt clubby.
only just had enough spare cash to buy a mini35 earlier this year, stripped it down havent done much since with it because of the weatther.
then came across this heap of junk my mum n dad call the yellow shed.

bought that about a month or so ago and have been drving it untill saturday when the brakes failed in the middle of a run. almost into the back of another mini.
the mini35 is getting restored and sold, then the clubby is off the road in summer for a complete strip down and rebuild.

Hey I'm John, I'm 20 and have 5 mini's all in different states of repair. Well first up is my daily driver (when I'm not fixing it ) this is beth;

I also have 2 mayfair's an '86 and an '84 (but don't have any pictures) their in a pretty bad state at the moment but when I have the time I will sort them out and sell them on, Currently sat in my workshop is a '76 clubman which is way past repair so that is being striped for bits.
And Finally, The is my city which I'm currently trying to get through an mot as my dad has decided he wants one of my mini's and this is it:

Well I'm Jojo and I'm 19. I have owned Mini's for years! My first was a Racing Green called Benjamini but he sadly died due to a fool of a Mk1 Golf driver.

Now I own Minxy who is the purple and blue Mini below. she is currently a 998 but is coming off the road for a week soon so I can drop my 1440 engine in.

And then the black one also below is called Vadar. I fairly recently bought him as a project for once Minxy is finished, but he is still sadly sat in my garden awaiting some attention.




P.s Markaboot, fancy selling that Clubby??

ive just turned 21 and bought my 1st mini last year, she is just bein restored .

i got in to minis because of my friend (now bf) hes 36 and has owned them for years. he invited me to mitp 2005 and i just loved them from then and always wanted one. now i have one but still cant drive lol

I'm 22 and have owned Freddie, a 1992, 1275 Mayfair (pics can be found in the link attached to my sig) for a year and a half. Though I've loved cars as long as I can remember and classic cars in particular for a long time.

Always liked minis but wasn't a tad obsessed as I am now until I went to drag wars a few years ago to see a friend, got a bit hooked after that

My other half is 28 and owns two minis as well, he's E.L.M.O on here

1 88 jet black which was beyond repair
My Daily drive a 87 City E which ive rebuilt completly
and a 80 clubby estate which im rebuilding at the mo.

Ive always liked minis since i was young ive wanted one, got the jet black when i was 16.

hi im 16 and own a mini 998... i bought it because i thought it should be rescued from the scrappie... and i have wanted one for ages, to do up for my first road car, i agree that getting younger generations into classics is very difficult.
i think that by the time my age group get to about 20 there will be hardly and under 20's into cars, and especialy not classics, its a shame when you think about it, but mainly now if it cant be done on an x-box or playstation or whatever ,then people my age arnt intesested:(
im also into custom bikes, and on that scene im one of about 5 or 6 young people in the country

the few of my freinds that are into cars think that a chavved up nova with extreeme body kit is the nuts and have no interest in anything else

my other project is a fully spaceframed anglia 105e racecar... my freinds think im nuts:D

i'm 21 i own my 1275gt and its been in the family since new, i have always admired the charm of a classic car, i think they are just works of art. when me and my partner move to a place with a garage i will be buying a riley elf also as a project car. My partner has owned 3 minis and he is 25. he had one as his first car and sold it a year later. the second over a year ago which has now also been sold and he currently has a shell as a project car.
we also will be insured on his moms reliant scimitar within the year and he has also owned a M reg camper van which was restored and sold on.
My brothers girlfriend has a minor and its her first car also.

we will always be into classic cars as its something that has been around both of us for a long time, from my gran owning the mini since 1976 to his parents building, riding and restoring classic and vintage bikes.

and my current one is a d reg mafair (different one)

I'm 20, I bought a mini cooper when I was 16, then a while ago it blew up so I'm driving a Fiat Punto Sporting until I see the right mini again..
