I'm pretty sure they knew that it was taxed, was insured and was my car, but I'm sure they had fun pulling me over and wasting everyones time.

They're just doing their job! If they didn't stop anyone at all, how would they catch criminals? You could've been someone on their wanted list...
No they chased me down the road and pulled me over and told me their computer said I wasnt the owner of the car, wasnt taxed or insured. After about ooooooo 7 seconds of ringing someone he decided he computer was wrong....which means he didnt even look at it.

They pull me and then see im some little blonde bird and ask where im going so late as I work evenings.
Then talk to me about the car. The Old Bill round my way are very friendly. They like my Mini, apart from some male Copper who pulled me telling me I was going to fast round a roundabout when I was only doing 30mph!! So I told him to follow me again and ill do the same speed again, then he called me a liar so I told him to sod off.

They have been pulling alot of people over around there recently, my brother picked me up not long ago and was dropping a friend off for me and they followed him for 2 miles, pulled him mentioned he may of been going too fast but he wasnt sure as he didnt know the area, asked about insurance complemented his drivig and said bye and then followed him another 5 miles....until we got to ravenstone (lol)
really strange.

On one occasions when they pulled me, they said it was because i wasn't wearing my seatbelt. Then when i showed them i was tightly harnessed in, he tried to find something else wrong, but failed! told me that i should probably wear a top that wasn't red so they could see i was wearing harnesses. i didnt realise i was stopped by the fashion police!
Other times were for:
seatbelts again (had harnesses on again)
new big bore exhaust at 2am new years da a few years ago (dropped grandparents home after party!) , hadnt had a drop of alcohol.
angry policeman didn't like how loud the exhaust was and just wanted to hava a bit of i rant i think!
Most of the time the police are just doing there job and i have the upmost respect for them. Whenever i've been stopped i've been polite and they are normally polite in return. I guess if you drive a car thats as attention grabbing as a mini your going to have to deal with it. Maybe they just wanted to have a look at your mini! I have stood talking to them after they've cleared everything, and they were interested in what i'd done to the mini. then one said "should have guessed you had harnesses, i used to have a mini and was always doing stuff to it".
