Just Been Pulled Over By The Police

It might be because of the car or the way you look, or the fact that you are driving late at night/early hours of the morning.
At the time it made me lose all respect for the police as it felt like I was being victimised .
However since I have matured (a bit) and seen the aftermath of RTCs and been involved in a motorway accident I
realise that most of the time they are trying to prevent bad things happening.
From their point of view most of the nasty stuff they have to deal with seems to be caused by people who fit the stereotypes
above and thats why they stop people in modded cars or who look young or out late etc.
Im not saying you shouldnt mod your car just if you do then expect a few plods to sniff around. It goes with the territory.

You are joking ?
Since the spread of gatsos and other speed cameras there are fewer cops on the road than ever.
15 years ago I could count at least 10 cops on the motorway travelling from London to the Nort West.
Last year I travelled from Twickenham to Wigan and didnt pass one.
They have all been replaced by traffic agency or whatever they are called.
Its not just on the motorways either, around towns there are a lot less than there used to be.
to be honest thats one reason driving standards are so bad nowadays, because speed cameras dont see if you are lane hogging, tailgating
using mobiles, not indicating and lots of other offences.

I agree with this, I live in a very small town and to my knowledge I know of 4 un-marked police cars, 2 of them are through being pulled myself by them and the others I have either seen about or pulling various other cars. That's because they are mostly in undercover cars. Who the hell wants money making cameras that see if your doing all that? Big Brother is taking over.... We're all been watched, Run for the hills PEOPLE !

its like the 5th time ive been pulled and ive got a section 59 beacause it makes engine noise and some old man decided to cry about it.
Well clearly it's not just the police being overzelous, I've been driving nearly four years and have never been pulled over before.
Your car is attracting the attention of the police, either get it sorted or just get use to being pulled over.

Best behaviour from now on then!... ive got a section 59 beacause it makes engine noise and some old man decided to cry about it.
I agree with what most people said to start with. Doing their job, your car looked dodgy so they decided to stop you for a closer look. These things happen! Might be worth adding a silencer or something to your exhaust or driving less spiritedly when there are people around. Not that I'm saying you drive like an idiot, but don't give anyone cause to complain. Magic (Civic) has a point also, if they keep pulling you then there is clearly a problem. They must have spelt it out to you a fair few times before slapping a section 59 on your car so get over yourself and sort it out to be honest

There are loads of marked police cars around here and a few unmarked as well, just behave when you see them and there's no problem. Indeed I had to speed to keep up with one (no emergency!) earlier tonight

Let's not go crazy about "big brother" and the "nanny state" - YYYYYAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNN !!

At christmas going to pick my parents up same round about drifferent car this time 2am there thoughts .. young man, late at night in a fairly new vauxhall corsa... they follwed me 3 miles to raidar road as its known locally then gave up presumably as they couldn't be bothered following me down one of the bumpest road in st annes
things is like black civic says if your car attracts attention no matter what it is - then your likely to get pulled after all its there job and if in doubt of something they'll do it by the book
hope you dont get pulled agin though
