Decided to get a bit more power from the 1293, so bought a turbo, supposed to be a t2 but not so sure myself as someone told the current owner of the turbo that "it looks about t2 size" so hopefully it is, but not too sure. Also came across an inlet plenum with dump valve take off on the bay with only 13 minutes to go, so put in a bid at the last minute and won Also got a compact intercooler off a smart car that wasn't being used from work, and after asking the parts manager, she gave me it for free
Just waiting for the plenum to arrive and for the turbo to be found out of a junk filled garage, then i'll put up some pics of everything together. Trying to hide the turbo bits from the parents as they aren't going to know anything about it

Hmmm, sounds like someone else .
Jus waiting for my camera to charge up so I can get the photos off it and on to my thread .

Just hope the turbo is all legit.

Haha yer through Syston, first they hear the sound of a dump valve, then the wine of a supercharger , can't wait.

Like turbo and play mini exhaust, then supercharger then twin DTM , can't beat a bit of non-standardness .

Did a bit of research into the turbo which is an IHI RHB4, off an astra diesel and have heard a couple of different things. Came across a post from the fiat forum and someone said its good for 160 bannanas at 1bar boost but someone else said it will be maxed out at 100hp. Not sure what to do, wether to search for a T2 or try this one?
Had a quick play with the intercooler trying a few different positions and didnt really get amywhere to be honest. Looks might i might have to cut out the bonnet to clear it, and have the ic angled over the rocker cover like the scooby setup. Shame I have a sevo as it doesnt help for space. Other option is to ditch the dizzy in favour of a megajolt setup and try and free up a bit of space at the front to mount the cooler. I'll have to have a think. Any ideas appreciated?
