The intercooler is too big to go where the grille is, even with the grille off the front panel is too small for it to fit. Ill take some pics so you can see what I mean. Its already got an electric fan, which I am going to wire into a switch inside the car to put it on when it gets a little warm.

Are you also going to take the heater valve out and get a heater take off for the head?

yeah, may get a little motorbike rad and run a little aux rad off there and tap it back into the system somewhere else but not sure where

or people use the heater matrixs have two one in the car as your heater and one at the front of the car.

Yeah, its the same idea using the heater matrix under the bonnet as a little rad. I might speak to Riley as he works at a quad place where they buy, sell, service and maintain quads, so he might be able to get hold of a small, cheap rad for me.

Yer but can't imagine the matrix would withstand a lot, but the quad one is just the right thing .

Well, finally got hold of a T2 today, did a deal in the swap shop section and swapped my 1275 ported head for the T2. Hopefully picking it up this weekend. Getting closer to being turbo'd now. Also went to MED today and got a price for getting the chambers ground out, £60 cash lol. We will have to see if it can be done with my head first though, as it might have been skimmed too much meaning there isn't enough in the chambers to take out. I'm going to take it off at the weekend and take it down on monday and see if it can be done. With my pistons I'm looking at 28/29cc in the chambers depending on how far down the bore the pistons sit, as thats another factor in the cc. So we will have to see.
