Depends on the weather, I think and if there's much going on. I have Monday off work, so no rush to leave.

I've just been in the back garden setting my tent (which I haven't used for the best part of 5 years!) up so I can make sure it

1. Is all there (it is but I need to get some straight tent pegs! )
2. Has no holes or mouldy bits (it doesn't )
3. It isn't going to leak like a sieve (just started raining so I should be able to check for that in the morning!)

Just got to get the rest of my camping gear sorted out now!

I'm from Singapore and will be going to IMM2009. Heard that there will be a pre-IMM meetup at the Ace Cafe on Thursday, Aug 6 and a group drive up on Friday. I would love to catch a ride up to IMM. Anybody got space for 2 passengers? We'll contribute fuel costs. Thanks.

annoyingly i didn't realise the party was on teh sunday as all previous IMM's have been friday night and staurday night. Didn't book the monday off and now it has been booked by my colleague. grrrrr

if your in a club - back street minis perhaps - you may still be able to book tickets. I managed to get 2 last week via central minis uber-host Martyn Dawkins,and talking direct to the organisers, but the show people did say that we had to get payment to them pretty quickly so we did it straight away. They also only allowed us to do this as central minis already has a substantial club plot booked, so I gues they thought 2 extras wouldnt hurt.
