I have just been informed my Mark (aka Marksmini aka Forum founder) that we have a TMF camp area on the left as soon as you get through the entrance to the show. You can see the area as you are queing to enter apparently

Mark and Bec (with Vern) are already there so you should be able to see them.
I will be getting there today at 4/5 ish in my lovely silver mk4

So I hope to see you all soon!

The weather is fantastic here, glorious sunshine, far to easy to get burnt though! So far I haven't managed to spend much money, but there's still time!
My journey here was a nightmare but I will explain that another time!
Only at a british IMM can you have Roy Wood on stage singing Christmas songs at the begining of August!

I won't do individual thank yous as I stink to high heaven, am burnt to a crisp, have an appointment with a luxury toilet and am seriously in need of food (except an individual one for Simon - Vern was most happy with his special order of pads, thanks so much for doing that!

His show was awesome!

I forgot to add the fun didn't stop at the show's gates! On the way home there was an unmarked police car on the hard shoulder which waited for us to go past then pulled out and drew along side of us with it's sirens and lights on.....
.....briefly and two police folks waving at us like loons killing themselves laughing....it was my friends I'd been 'helping' out the night before

Bumped into Luna Mini in the breakfast queue this morning.
We camped with the Thames Valley MC lot, but then it WAS just me and the kids and I reconed the TMF camp *might* be a little more raucous. Ahem.
I spent a 'few' quid on a super-duper rain cover which means that the glass can now come out of the project mini.
I also had a good chat with the Somerford guys about the right way to go about the panel replacement that I'm doing next.
All in all, a good one.

Some pics:
We made it without breaking down! (Well, OK, we ran out of fuel, but I blame the non-working sender!)

Fire eating and juggling:

Chrome!!!! (How heavy would that be?):

Did anyone see the teeny-tiny 50cc mini? Bear in mind that my daughter is not even four yet:

Will upload the rest overnight.

A big thankyou to the organisers and all the stands for there contributions.
I Do think the £15 Admission was a bit steep as there are people out there with minis who are not so well of as some, who have missed a fantastic show.
These people deserved the chance to enjoy what we all did who attended.
But hope organisers will organise a big show like this every year.
Well Done!

Apart from the entry fee (£15) I think it was a very good show lots of clubs, trade stands, displays and things to do etc. I found the tent with the classic and rally mini's with the profiles of some of the people involed with the mini very intresting.
A big well done to all the organisers, clubs and everyone else involed with making it a huge succsess!
