wow! just come across this, basically ive been fishing all my life, i used to fish on the Oxford Thames from a very early age with my dad catching Gudgeon and bleak on my little rod and this has slowly progressed through the years and i now like to fish for Silverfish and Bream. My partner in crime (Minidream94) and myself can usually be found by an oxfordshire river bank or lakeside pleasure fishing now and again bagging in roach and bream.
as im not a specimen hunter my current pb's are:

1lb 9oz roach- River Chet, Norfolk
4lb 11oz Bream- Lakeside, Somerset
5lb Carp- a lake in Somerset
and:
1lb 1oz Dace, River Hiz, Bedfordshire....which i believe is 3oz off the record :)

Novice fair-weather (hehe) carp fisherman here :)

Some good spots in Eversley, and generally around this part of Berkshire & Surrey.

Have been into fishing since i was about 6 (too many years to remember :) )
I mainly fish for Carp or chub and barbel, but enjoy a day sat behind a float just as much for anything that comes along... Living where i do in dorset i have the pick of some of the best rivers in the south and many lakes with some very large fish in them ...will have to upload some pictures when i get home

If anyone is down in this area give me a shout and will point you in the right direction

:)
