did make me laugh people running as soon as the raffle was drawn few people nearly got run over as they where so worried about getting out the carpark

quickly ran straight out infront of my car on the road without looking silly people

did not get chance to look around the show but more room where it was think it will be there again next year

ran the underwear drive there, lost a couple of people because they broke down,

a couple of people went in for petrol starkers lol made me chuckle

i dont have a ball point figure yet but i think weve made just shy of a grand for birmngham kids hospital :D

as for the show i brought black bonnet stripes, new window seals, gutter trim and a mini scarf for my window lol

my only thing ide say was a bit naff was the layout of the show, it was just scattered about n due to this i went round the same bit twice without realising untill i saw the big bouncy castle!!!

other than that i thought it was wel worth 7 quid, its a day out :(

shame about the tenner petrol it cost to get there n back...

mint!

Himley was my first visit to a Mini show, I was hoping for great things after a hour+ queuing to get in, alas I was a little disappointed, there is no doubt that there were some very nice cars there some that gave me ideas and perhaps some inspiration.
I suggest that the organisers look at the time it took visitors to get into the venue (and out of by the sounds of it)
Also it would have been good idea to get all the "public Minis" to park in the same area in the car park.

HEY, did anyone go through somewhere before Dudley, just off the roundabouts from M5? Anyway there was a garage on the left hand side which just looked like it had been ram raided!!! All the metal shutters were at the back of the shop etc, glass everywhere, thought it was quite funny!

Still open for business though!

Seems that we managed to miss the traffic issues. Only spent around 10-15 minutes queuing to get in at around 1015. Didn't have to queue to get out at all at 1500.

This was the first time we'd been to the Himley Hall show so I can't compare it to previous years, but compared to say last year's MITP for example, the auto jumble side of things, (which is what I go to shows for) was noticeably better. The trade stands were the usual suspects I've come to expect at Mini shows, which isn't a bad thing. There were also many pretty Minis at the show stands.

To be honest the only thing they could have done better for me would have been to make sure that all the auto jumble stands were together rather than split up over the site.

Also: Was there a CMOC stand? I looked for one but failed to find it. I suspect that was due to my being easily distracted by the shiny things on display though. :D
