There have been a few threads pop up about different, so I figured why not have somewhere where those of us that love the game can chat about whatever is going on.

If you don't like football, please don't feel the need to tell everyone

So, anyway, the Champions League final. I know some people say that English people should want an English team to do well in Europe, but I am a Liverpool fan and nothing could make me want Utd to win. Having said that, I think they will. I think Barca's defense could just prove to weak for the Utd attack, and if Utd get the first goal Barca could become stretched coming forward and leave themselves too exposed. I wouldn't be surprised by a 2-0 or 3-0 win for Utd, although I really hope not.

It will be really interesting to see just how good a game it is, too. Everyone is hoping for a free flowing attacking game, but all too often these big matches end up being a disappointment.

Barca will be allowed time to play against utd as utd will come out and attack unlike Chelsea in the semis.
Barca will do it 2-1.

Cristiano Ronaldo - 4 goals, 32 shots on target, 21 shots wide

It's a pretty impressive strike rate for Messi.

Hard one for me as a Chelsea mad family, but now I have got over the pain of the blind ref paid for by some dodgy french git robbing us I want BACA to win as I could not stand to read about ruddy Fergie and Ronnie and how they luv each other and how Ronnie wants Fergie's babies.

generally in europe i want the english teams to win, with the exception of arsenal. i hate them with a passion and don't really know why. i'm a southampton fan by the way.

i really don't know what to think about tonight, i dont think there's any result that could surprise me. i'm leaning more towards utd for the win though.

shame really, wanted united to win but as a neutral the main thing i wanted was a good game and i ended up with neither. no real good chances just poor defending from united

Barcelona basically ran the show. Man Utd had about 2 chances? Maybe 3.
Best team definitely won, couldn't wait to see Ronaldo crying!
