I made it clear to my girlfriend that I operate on a strict ''last in = first out'' policy....

I think she knows the safest thing is not to ask which comes first!

My car obsession does really annoy her though, she thinks mini's are 'cute' and 'lovely' but will not go in mine, as it's just far too loud and bumpy.

i feel your pain mate my missus is the same im having to take my 1480 metro engine out and drop a 998 back in as im getting sick of buses but she doesnt know that im going to be buying a project to dump the 1480 in hahahahaha. im hoping to give the missus the 998 when she finally learns to drive anyway

unfortunately i know exactly how everyone feels!!! when i crashed my baby this summer she couldn't understand why i was so upset!! after all it was ""only a car""!! then it kicked off when another one turned up two days later :L anyway i think putting up with all the *melon* makes it more interesting shes never understood but she will it early days yet!! either way mini is staying for good!!

'Man up den just pull some next gal' will now be my answer to any problems my friends approach me with. It pretty much covers all avenues.

I've yet to meet a guy or a gal who can appreciate my Mini love, but the partner I have atm is into football (which I can't stand) leaving us with an amicable compromise.
