gonna slacken off the alternator belt tomorrow to check its that making the whining noise, if not ill have to quickly slacken off the cambelt a tad, aint too bad though, and should settle in a bit more and quieten down!

looks like im going to be ditching the turbo'd a-series in favour of one of these over the winter while car is off the road.

Are you still happy with the conversion? how reliable is it?

oh and earlier in the thread you say you worked / work at prodrive, i have a good mate there Pete Faulkner he's helped me out on mine in the past

Cheers dude, im happy with the conversion, just not with the mini bit thats attached to it and rotting to bits, shell needs a bit of work before i can get this cage in which is a bit of a ...cant think of how to phrase it without swearing however TMF's 'family filter' rubbish forbids me...

Need a unit around essex area now.
