Oooo good nick lights for a fiver - with bulbs? Looks like what I'll be doing with Cyril...the welding and probably the underseal will be done elsewhere...while I get on with the good stuff

Yeah lights came with all the fittings for just a fiver ! my welding should be finished soon then ill just stone chip guard the floor pan etc. then continue buying stuff until its time for a full body respray. My latest purchase was two doors from icklemini shown below.

Bought a whole 998cc engine, gearbox etc. for a £10 for spares and an art project for my GCSE's! Car should be back tomorrow with the welding finished. More pics then!

Looks a really nice project and can see your thinking it all out and then getting on with it and seems to a good standard from the pics which is what counts

one thing though in your sig it saids '£8000 Project' what part of the project is going to make it cost that much? you can mod a cooper sportspack for that sort of money although its different you get what i mean?

Hi yeah im really impressed with the outcome ! I know £8000 does seem really expensive but i think ive put up that amount as a budget, so i can have a play about with a few parts and select the one i feel more happy with and also because i have a tendancy to buy things then think i no longer want them . Im gunna take my time with it and hopefully buy another mini to use everyday when i pass my test. So i think 2 years from now should be a good time scale.
