I'm about an inch away from buying a mini, and to be honest im not really fussed but my dad think its important so... Will a Mini happily cruise at 70 down the motorway, or will it hate me eternally for it and not do it any good, is it also a relatively easy option to fit a 5 speed gearbox.

Thanks

i can happily cruise at 70 all day, but i agree with most people the noise is stupid, especially if your getting exhaust filter etc... seems a little quiter at 80 for some reason, dosnt drone on as much dont ask me why, just turn ur sterio up and the engine noise goies away lol :)

You can tell how loud it's getting by the amount you have to increase the radio volume to hear anything, then when you come to a stop the radio's blowing your eardrums out!!!!

haha exactly

motor-ways are no fun!

A & B Roads, thats what the mini was built for

Agreed I use the motorway as little as possible as a straight'ish road is boring :)
