That don't look like an A series ???

Also, there's definitely something resembling a "blower" there !!!!!!!

That definitely doesnt look like an a-series engine in that pic.

So maybe its something to do with the wiring form that engine...

1900 quid and I think it was a fair price, cockpit needs an overhaul but everything else is sound as a pound.

Just fitted new dash rails from a late rover mini and got a dash panel being custom made at the local college for 30 quid using their cnc cutting skills.

1.6 8v Nova GSI powered mini awesomeness for not a lot of dosh , can't be bad. The astra GTE Digidash also looks good just a shame the speedo's stopped working but I read somewhere it's probably a transducer problem and hopefully easily fixed.

Is it that much of a bargain then ?? I was really umming and aaaing at 1900 quid but he seemed like a decent kiddie and was saving to get wed so I didn't want to brow beat him that much and gave him the 1900 we agreed on. Took a chance buying it really as it been 20 years since I owned a mini and I only owned that for 6 days before some sod knicked it.

My best guess is that the lcd is a controller for the nitrous oxide system. In the picture of the engine bay you can clearly see the pink/red and blue fuel/nitrous solenoids. Figures as the car has clearly got a history at santa pod.
