Was good to meet you today Luke and your dad.

There the same wheel nuts that I have got, a nice finishing touch.

Does this mean you can now build up your front subframe?

Tasty!! Are those 7.5" 4 pots? How much did they set you back?

Yes!! You got a picture of the white Mk1, loved the styling on it

£265 for everything, I think that's really good considering? 4 pots and vented.. what do you think?

Yep I saw the white one across the hall and knew I'd love it, really nice touches.

& you too Chris! was nice to see you :)

EDIT: wrong amount, £265 not £365.

I need to place another order with Minispares  for all the little bits and bobs, I need to look at a few blow apart diagrams and see which bits I need to order. I will be coming home in a fortnights time to work on her again :)

Sorry I meant £265! just checked the receipt. Which I think is brilliant for what I got, Mini Speed sell the vented 4 pot callipers for £160 each in the catalogue.

Front half or back half to sort first? :) can't afford to buy all the panels at once!

I'm just trying to think.. maybe the rear, it'll be cheaper & it means I'll have some extra money for the front subframe & engine.

I'm using the cross member as a divide by the way, so from where the seats sit forwards or backwards?

Uh oh!! When I first saw the picture I did think that I've never seen a four pot 7.5" conversion that isn't alloy

Looking at the picture of the disc, the discs should have the studs as part of them, that's what my cooper s discs are like

If he sold them to you as a 7.5 setup I would not be happy!!

Do you know the colour of the mk1 with the good styling?

Uh oh.. well I've rang Dad and I'll get him to measure them, It's not a big deal really.. I'll ask for a refund and a refund on the postage when I send them back. Will set me back a few weeks though.

I did ask the bloke for a conversion from 8.4" to 7.5", I don't understand how he could get the wrong end of the stick..

Its not a nice feeling when you have bought the wrong thing and realise its not the right thing or you paid too much for something :) I've been there....
