yep the hard part is nearly done now, Pete emailed me last night, should be getting the 'shell back to me next week hopefully. I've got 99% of the parts to assemble the subframes and running gear now, as you said its the fun of remembering how it all goes back together next!
Not long until yours is ready for paint either is it, fair play to you for doing your own bodywork, I would never have the time!
Cheers,
Nick.

All the bodywork is done on mine now, just got to finish of the primer coat and then I'm ready for the finish, can't wait to get the painting done so that I can start on the re-assembly.
I do wish that I'd got somone like Pete to do the painting though, I can't believe how time consuming it is.
Keep up the good work
Cheers

I'm so pleased with how its turned out, even on delivering it back Petes attention to detail was amazing- he had even fabricated brackets to mount the ratchet straps to the shell, using the bolt holes which the subframes are usually mounted to, so as not to damage the painwork in any way- how many people nowadays would go to that much trouble?
I am now dying to get my hands on it and start putting it all back together (although I am very worried I'm going to scratch it) but it is gonna have to wait a while now, have to get my flat up to a top rental standard, finish putting in my mother-in-laws bathroom and, when I get it, sort out my new house, all around a full time job & 2 young kids
