Well I wouldn't like to talk figures as each and every job is different, the brief I gave to Pete when he took on my job was that I wanted it finished to a very high standard- and so it is costing me a few quid.
If you want to speak to the guys for a quote then Pete is on here (panelbeaterpeter) or the companys website is http://www.classycampers.co.uk/
If you want the job done properly then Pete is your man, his workmanship and attention to detail are second to none
Hope this helps!
Nick

11 downloadsI've also now painted all of the front suspension and running gear, all ready to be put back together, have also cleaned and am in the process of painting what I could salvage of the rear end's suspension- more pictures to follow; what I couldn't salvage I have now ordered so hopefully will be with me by crimbo, so looks like most of January will be spent bolting all the parts back onto the subframes

Cant wait to see this finshed, What engine are you going to have the 850?
Thanks, yes I'm gonna use the little 850 beastie, will be just like the old days when I used to drive it as a kid.
My 'everday car' is bit of a monster so I get my speed fix from that, my intention for this mini is for it to be as close as possible as it was when it first left the factory, pretty much as it was when I first started driving it years ago when I was 17- bloody long time ago now....

Thanks Andy, yep I'm well chuffed, Pete sent me some more pictures earlier of it all in proper primer (execpt the bonnet as I need to get him a better one) not had the time yet to post them on here, will try to get it done tommorrow.
Guess the race is on, a bit out of my hands who's bodywork gets sprayed first though, I know Pete finished for crimbo today and wont be back on my mini 'till the new year, so its anyones guess at the mo!
Have a great Christmas Andy, hope santa brings you lots of mini parts (thats what I've asked for!!)
Cheers

Everytime I see a thread where Pete has been the man behind the bodywork it's always better than the last!
Pete you truely are an artist with a welder!

Yep, Pete certainly has a very good reputation for attention to detail, perfect for my mini as I am a bit of an perfectionist. It was the recomendations on this site that caused me to contact Pete in the first place, and I'm very glad I did- so looking forward to getting the 'shell back now
