i meant to put that the second hole above were the gear change rod is going through the floor is were the steady bar will come through

well we drilled out the Universal joint tonight, and in the process manage to get the chuck to fall off the bench drill lol, so had to reatach that all in all a good couple of hours work

am looking forward to saturday should hopefully get the gear stick connected to the box and see if it selcets gears yay!!!!!

Yay we got the internal gear stick linkage thingy just need to get the engine all connected to see wether it's working proper like.

Didn't get anything done this weekend as I've had a "wonderful" time with my head in the loo for some of it spewing yay NOT!!!! hate being ill. But am feeling abit better today so hopefully get on with some tomorrow eve

Right an update!

We got one of the drive shafts in, would of got the second one in but the brand new pot joint boot that we got from camberly auto factors had a hole in it grrrrrr so dad took it back while split ball joints and ate pastys lol

But I've also just won 4 more exacton mini special alloys so I can put some winter tyres so i dont wreck my lovely red ones

For the first set that I got split, I paid Around £40 and collected them, the ones I've just won cost £67 plus the cost of A courier.

cheers andy, yeah im feeling better. although things are going slower than i wont but thats life unfortunatly, and its mine own fault for spending how ever many months getting the dash right (and there will be pics soon when its finished) as my dad (frodgey) pointed out if it wasnt for the dash we could of been finished a couple of months ago. oops :teehee: :- just dont tell the missus lol

weve also been having fun and games with the drive shafts as we would of had both fitted last sat but one of the pot joint boots that we got from CAF was duff so were waiting on another one its been nearly a week and still not had a phone call to say theyve got them in yet grrrrr

Well we got both petrol tanks in today!!!! but no pic has my iphone was being a smelly poo and i cant find my camera grrrrrrr!!!
almost got the pipes connecting them in as well but ran out of time this morning.
