I love those quarter lights on the front windows.
Is there any way of getting them without paying ££££ for a pair of genuine doors ?

Best wishes
Monty

I could bring the wright bits for you to convert the doors you have.

Interesting... what's kind of money are we talking about ?

You need the quarter light, the main window glass, and the winder gear, its the same shape but only has one arm to lift the window.
you them need the door internal latch as this is also diffrent, all this would cost £125 per door.
on top of that you would need a Door trim panel. modify your weather trim inside and out and the chrome trim around the door its diffrent to the coopers in that it covers the inner edge of the door.

Hmmmm... sounding like big bucks. £125 per door plus inevitable extras makes it at least four yards of folding stuff.
Thanks for the info though.
I'll keep buying the lottery tickets !

Best wishes

 I love that bootlid! Might have to get one... well, a fibreglass one anyway :) Just how rare are genuine ones?

I've now got 2 spare bootlids after not having one good one. Both are completely rust-free and in grey primer. I don't have a spare number plate light though.
I would be looking for around £175 each. They seem to sell on ebay for around the £200+ mark. I think I'll keep one as a spare for mine but one is available.

Another famous memeber of the forum is getting an innocenti cooper...
By the way this is a de tomaso turbo i spotted in italy:

I spoke to the owner, its a daily drive in pretty bad shape, but still a very rare car.

Crikey that brings back memories. I use to own an Innocenti 90L and a black 1275 De tomaso. They were great little cars but rotted real bad. My de tomaso use to go like stink, I blew the diff up in it flooring it (wheels spinning) across a cross road and it dumped all its oil in the middle of the road. I ended up wrapping around a telegraph pole in Twickenham lmao. Have grown up a little since :)
