I suspect it's a generational difference – but to prove me wrong: is there anyone young here (under 25ish) who also dislikes these abbreviations?

Who really cares! jesus, its a forum about minis not about how people type, why do people feel the need to make a big deal out of every thing! Theres more important things going on in the world than some one saying 'lol' get a grip!

I'd prefer a little less blasphemy too  (and if you really have to..and don't mind upsetting people...it's a name so use a capital please!)

Id prefer a little less whining, but hey ho! That is'nt going to happen in a hurry is it! Why do people feel the need to just moan about everything!

Ha that was going to happen sooner or later! This is my first moan though haha.

Every one just chill out, take a nap, or what ever you need to be calm!

Im not just on about this topic though, people are whining all over the place on here, just seems pathetic to me that a few members get annoyed by some one typing 'lol'.

Any way, i give up my work here is done!

I hate people who put l0l and lma0 at the end of every sentence. There's no reason for it!

Why hate? I use it because if you're speaking in person you can tell by some1s tone of voice if they're being serious or having a laugh, you can't tell over the internet...

The 1980s called and said you must not "lol" because the internet and internet forums are serious business! Well, one person was listening and took the message seriously anyway.
