ahh this annoys me, i know exactly what you mean, i was cycling home for college once and a 'CHAV' drove past me stuck his middle finger up at me for no reason what so ever, more than anything it baffles me as to what the f**k is going through their head, do they get some kind of enjoyment out of this? although anyone who enjoys sitting in macdonalds car park on a sat night until the early hours must have something going wrong, seriously whats the deal!!! ok rant over.

You must have scared them. Their precious little Corsa probably couldn't take the competition of a Mini... so they shouted abuse at you

That's pretty much what happened yesterday.
I was driving my son back from his guitar lesson when an overloaded (five in there!) old corsa pulled out in front of me and caused me to slow down.
I (stupidly) flashed my lights in warning that I was there. You know ,"try the mirrors" in morse code so to speak.
They sped off and then I thought no more of it for a minute or two.
But then they were waiting at the lights.

As we drew alongside, there was all sorts of rude gestures and shouting.
I was a little concerned for my son, but I tried to ignore it. I always lock his door anyway.

When the lights finally changed, my little 1275 (unmodified!) left them standing.
Crappy underpowered corsa + 5 young people = too heavy.

I think that's one of the only benefit of living in Wales, as there aren't many (if any?) Chavs as such.

We've got the average youngster and the more basic retarded types, but their not really Chav like.

I remember it was one of those weeks where your walking down the road with 1 or 2 mates then suddenly some1 screams/shouts out of the window to try and scare you this happened atleast 3 times in one week lol - not chavs this time 2 men in a van on each instance

If you have a nice car there is always a few problems on the road.Try to keep cool,i just slow down and they get onto another car instead,always drive with locked doors to,had the odd jackers in the past after sports cars,no way.As you now im well in my 40s=OAP
