i was driving through brixton in my mini with the roof down late on a friday night and had a big group of chavs yell "Hey Snowman!, nice motor!"
gave it a rev and there were quite a few gun gestures followed by brap brap brap sick car bruv etc..
quite funny
and in relation to fast cars having a go
i was cruising at 90 in the middle lane on the m25 and an m5 pulls up (think it was because of the loud exhaust) winds down the window and
says bet thats a fast one
that shoots off into the distance
only a 998 Lol!
mostly people in porsches when i overtake though
dont think they can stand being overtaken.. thinking i should be in the peasant lane with all the other ancient crappy motors or something

Haha yeah people seem to get really bugged being overtaken by a Mini, no matter what kind it is. It's like getting beaten up by a kid hehehe

I've had people pull out of the inside lane in front of me just so that I can't overtake them, causing me to have to slow down but leaving their pride intact... "I'm not being outdone by a ruddy Mini!" haha...

Had 2 chavs in a Pug 205 GTI pull up next to me at the lights a while back and rev the engine. I couldnt resist, so I pulled on a tiny bit of choke to get the fast idle. Lights go amber, and I take my foot off the brake. Leave them behind totally, upto the 40 limit so the old bill cant do anything. Best bit was, I think they saw the 1litre AUTO badge on the back! The look on the passengers' face was classic.....

you know that if they were trying a decent 205 gti would slaughter most minis, unfortunatly as with any car there are good owners and bad 205's arent usualy owned by chavs but it does happen...same with mini's there are chavtastic owners also.
on the contrary my friend owns a saxo...hes not a chav, its a rally car and would again slaughter most (not all) minis.

Friends that also love cars built a fiat 126 with a Lancia 2.2 twin cam in the back,no back seat room,and they got it tested for the road,insurance was daft but they are not young people,the owner was about 60. they even sprayed it pink,they had some fun in that on the road.I bought a sooty van and popped in a wizz kid lump ,it was fun at the lights and easy to do,dr.who has got one,you can get loads in them.Some of you will have to race Smart cars for fun,never give way to one of them mercs.
