Here's saturdays updates, 12/12/09.
All my updates from now on will be in as much detail as possible. :genius:
So first thing saturday morning my old mayfair project was moved, And now the clubby is in it's final resting place until the restoration is finished.

1: Found more rust.
Boot lid has a rusty hole.
Posted Image
Driver side rear quarter window has a small area of rust and a hole.
Posted Image
Boot hinge panel needs replaceing, rust both sides.
Posted Image
2: After digging round for rust and bad bodge repairs i got the nitromorse out, i stripped the whole roof and nearly all the back panel.
Rear panel stripped.
Posted Image
Posted Image
Roof stripped, it's got a few dents but has no rust or filler which is a good start.

Sorry about the pretty poor pictures, i must go buy a new camera.

Looks like your cracking on with it. I was very tempted to buy this when I saw it in the classifieds, but I'm sort of glad I didn't now as I've enough to be getting on with.

Anyway, keep up the good work ;)

Ive decided to replace the whole boot floor and seat base with this panel http://www.minisport..._HMP441016.html Tommorrow im
going to brace the boot and cut it all out, the repair panels are no good for what i need, there's just to much rot and id rarther do this properly as
i want it as a show car, if it takes me 5 years i will do it no matter what.

If a mod see's this could you remove the two post's above this with the thumbsup smileys please, thanks cookie.
