Just signed the petition, because I beleive that this extremist group should not be allowed to march for the reasons they want to march.

Was sad to see only approx 17500 people have signed so far.

One thing I do find hard to get my head around is everyone wants freedom of speech........... untill they dont agree with what is being said. Either you have complete freedom of speech or you dont.

If the NF or BNP were to air their veiws they would automatically be called racists, arrested and dealt with through the courts, as they should be. However when a Muslim with extreme views starts spouting their vile hatered what do we do to them.

Not to much and as previouse people have posted if they hate this country so much the one that has housed, them feed, them educated thier children looked after them via the National Health Service, let them build their own places of worship, the country that has bent over backwards to make them feel welcome, all via benifits what the hell are they doing here.

But I feel I have just answered my own question.

Come on Brown wheres your backbone.

Now my rant is over I would just to say a big thank you for all the service people who in this war, and previouse ones, have given everything so we can continue to be free, and to those that continue to place themselves at the greatest danger ever.

The only reason I used the word "them" was so that I do not have to type Muslim extremist everytime I mentioned "them"

The last coment is typical of whats wrong with this country in my opinion. Why should we let them , I mean Muslim Extremists, do whatever they want without voicing our, Non Muslim Extremists, concerns. Turn a blind eye hope they go away dont think thats going to work with them, I mean Muslim Extremists.

Just a few things that Islam4uk are publishing so looks like im an enemy of Islam.

The Islam4UK website contains plenty of examples of extremism:

•They claim that joining the police force is apostasy since anyone who seeks to uphold man-made law is an enemy of Islam.(3)
•They relate homosexuality as a problem equivalent to rape, paedophilia and homicide.(4)
•They warn that Muslim children are not safe in the hands of non-Muslim teachers (using the divisive term Kufaar, or 'unbeliever') since citizenship, Shakespeare and learning Christmas carols is part of the education system in Britain.(5)
•There is an article entitled: “Land of the baby killers”.(6) In response to the rape and murder of Hannah Foster they write; “The fallacy of freedom has failed society and furthermore made people victims of a corrupt man-made system, for which Islam is the only solution”.(7)

yeah. ok, what they are doing is totally wrong, and annoys me.
massive disrespect to the family's of the fallen and fighting.
but also disrespect to the muslims out there too.

the extremists pull a stunt like this and the minority associate them withh all muslims.
ther's over million muslims in this country, most of which are born here that just get on with their lives like any other people.
but you get a handfull of them trying to cause problems, just like any other religion

I do think however its only the uneducated that group all Muslims in with this lot.

I have had similar discrimination aimed at me because of the job I do some people say I must be a racist.

It looks like their website is down so I can't comment on its content. It does sound like they don't speak on behalf all Muslims and we should be careful that we don't appear to be opposing all Muslims in opposing their extreme views. Showing respect for the innocent Afghans killed in the same conflict as our soldiers isn't extremist though.

I am currently on active operations in the middle east,given the chance i would like each and every person a 5 minute window to see for themselves the current situation " on the ground ",to see for thremselves what really goes on from all sides,away from the media hype.The turning point for me is not the nature of the march but the location,in my oppinion very offensive to any serving member of the armed forces and thier families.I have seen my comrades re-patriated home,and lost a good friend when his aircraft was shot down,We stand under the banner of democracy and freedom,and unless you have seen things through your own eyes,and not through a media lense i dont think is right to pass judgement.
I say let them have their march,just not at wooten!!

The march is disrespectful certainly, and even though it clashes with my ideas on freedom of speech i think it should be banned. For the simple reason that it is much too provocative and will cause harm.............as the threat to march has already.

But i have 2 points.

1. The march won't go ahead. Simple as that. It's all provocative bravado that will go nowhere................unless of course a gang of knuckle heads decide to "show these towelheads they can't blah blah blah etc.

2. A soon as the Daily Scum etc print this kind of rubbish, the hate filled racists come bursting out of the woodwork shouting about patriatism. It is not patriotic to say send all Muslims home. For many this is their home. What the "patriots" really mean is send all "non-white" people home. Send home anyone who doesn't conform to their ideas of the British standard.
Of course anyone with any intelligence would know that there is not one Human on these islands who isn't from immigrant stock. Does anyone really believe they could trace their ancesters back along a line of "pure" English/British blood?......Or is it just the fact that you got here first?

In the 50's it was Carribean people, "coming over here, taking our jobs and scrounging off us. (sic)" Each decade has had it's "enemy within" designed to terrify us. Seriously folks, read 1984 and see where we've allowed ourselves to be led. The enemy is from within, but it has the same skin colour and speaks with the same accent as us.

The middle East/Afganistan/Iraq/Iran problems can all be traced back to the Israel/Palistine conflict................Go back a little further and there you have Hitler and his ideas of a pure race, which showed the Jews that they'd better get their own country (ie, they went home) and defend it whatever the cost.

i have a few mates that are muslim, two in particular i have known for years they were born here and although their family are very religious as are they. they ARE VERY VERY british and i never even think about them being any different from me, in fact even though the family is very very muslim one of them is actually gay.

they are extremely against these people and hate what they are doing to the name of muslims. and its not only my friends that are like this but their parents are too and they weren't born here, but unlike these islam4uk people are very very appriciative of being let into the country and work very hard.

I dont agree with this march at all i do think its disgusting, if they feel that they need to march for the afgans then they should do it in afganistan in the same way the british turn out for british soldiers.

I also feel what makes us british is our right to freedom of speech, they do have a right to express there feelings and for maximum political impact they will use Bassett

If this March goes ahead the best thing people can do is ignore it not go to Bassett dont give them the media attention dont give them the personal attention its what they want and its what makes them stronger, ignoring them takes away everything they strive for

what i never understood is if a white peron goes to india or pakistan or any other middle east country they are made to fit in to their culture
