It'll be my first mini meet ever :tumble:

Ditto.

I think there is a basic Itinerary in with the tickets but as we found out, some bits are wrong.

With the new organisers I think they're getting settled too.

could i dress my polo as a mini, lay some stripes on it, a union jack...it has revos haha already so it aint far off? haha

such a shame, as its the last year UMJ will be on the road through me, as i want a new squarer mini next year to house my new engine. but im not going to rush my car just for the sake of a run.

hmmm.... sell the ticket... or just trade it for a t shirt and plaque and pretend i went :tumble:?

I have been thinking of going to London to Brighton but not sure as it would be my first time and i would need a ticket. Does one ticket cover all persons in the car? Evan.

As Sam said, it covers the car no matter how many people join you inside it.

Well I would imagine they'd have to let you in... bearing in mind I doubt they'd let you in if you had your limbs hanging out.

It's my first L2B and got a couple of questions:
whats the best time to get to crystall palace on the saturday (I'm Camping)
on the sunday morning is it true you have to be up by 3AM!!!
from crystal palace is it sign posted to London or do I need to use the sat nav??
are there some local takeaways near??
and this last one may seem a bit strange but do all the normal road laws apply or is the route cloesed of just for minis???
any help will make me smile
Much Love
Ben

I think you can get to CP any time after 12pm on the sat. Think we got there about 2pm last year. As for the getting up early everyone starts moving their cars into posistion about midnight onwards!! Last year I just stayed up but this year I shall be putting my car in the queue then going back to bed!!

Did you mean Brighton? Just use the sat nav. Once you get near Brighton there are some signs IIRC

are there some local takeaways near??

Yep plenty of them about 5 mins walk up the road or you could go to a restaurant an have a proper sit down meal

and this last one may seem a bit strange but do all the normal road laws apply or is the route cloesed of just for minis???

Nope unfortunately no special route closed for minis (that would be awesome though) just get to Brighton and get stuck in the traffic with everybody else!

any help will make me smile

Much Love
Ben

Hope that helps!!
