Well after a good run to CP, and good night camping, evenm though we were in the lower carpark this year for some reason.
Left CP fine then my Mini starting to missfire really badly and was unable to go over 3000rpm, not much fun on A23
Found a Halfords so a few leads later and problem still there, stuck in a service station Mr Orange Man came along and an offer of a Sandwich and Coffee his head was under the bonnet
No fix...So A23 back Home to London it was, we got 4 miles from Brighton and the traffic looked so Bad we thought best to Nurse the Old girl home.
Only 1 picture as SD card left at home for camera.
My mate sorting the Tunes at CP in the morning while cueing
oh no! we were looking for you we saw your mini at the back with us in cp and liked the wigs! we looked all round brighton and were quite dissapointed as we liked your car and the wigs!
We gave up when we saw the traffic..Wigs were off...no music and generaly hacked off...BUT will be trying to sort her out this week!

we got there about 20 to 7 spent a good hour at least queueing then we finally left crystal palace about 12:30, we arrived at Brighton about 3pm which was pathetic as by that time nearly everything was starting to close up.
Apart from that and my rear wheel rubbing through my arch i had a good time and might leave from outside cp alot earlier if i do it next year.
Was good to meet everyone and thanks tp ipod for organising the convoy to cp.(should of followed me i managed to get down the middle

Will get pictures up shortly

This was are first L2B and thought it was great but i thought the way the cars are filtered out of cp is rubbish! Because it was are first one we didnt think getting your car in line at 3 in the morn was that important but clearly it was. we was the 4th from last mini in line and didnt get out of cp tilll "1PM" so by the time we made a couple of wrong turns, stopped at the survices and got stuck in traffic we made madeira by 15.15. Shocking. It seems that the run in recent years has really affected what time people arrive in Brighton, and I know I would be really miffed if I didnt get to the show until after 1pm. I think working out additional exits to open at CP would be a good idea - or even better - close the main street in CP - they do it for other events and I'm sure it would prove more effective than the filtering system.
Just as a point of reference, we arrived at Madeira Drive at 12.30 and when we left at 3pm there were still people arriving down the ramp and the show is supposed to close at 4pm!
And before anyone has a go at me I realise that it's not all LSMOC's fault as there were several bad accidents on the A23 but that would have been irrelevant if we'd left CP at the right time!
That meant after looking at what was left of the show and getting some food we was one of the very last minis to leave madeira about 8ish and got home to east staffs by 1am after stops and drop offs.
We really did enjoy it though and none of the above spoiled it just just needs looking into but will be doing it next year for sure and a big thanks to my mini for no problem running on the 450 mile round trip
