Ive been thinking a bit recently i wanted to start my own little home business/hobby. i basiclly start with a customers car modify it and add my own little touch with will be common in all my car (Black Roof, Black Cooper Sptripes with 'Black Top Mini's' and BTM embrodied on the funriture. each car will have its own serial number and Plaque to say its genuine. whats everyone thinking?

I'd like to see some photos and plans of what your thinking?

Are you going to be doing all of the work yourself or sending it out to other contractors? Just thinking about your over heads and the amount of trade you'll be bringing in.

i might sub contract work out depnds on what needs doing really. i mean ill be running it from home out of my garage. i havent really thought it through properly yet its going to be a few years before i manage to get it up and running. at the moment im just getting some feedback

i know its not goign to produce vast amounts of money its just going to be a little hobbie on the side lines

How much would you charge say for black roof and decals to be done?

its not going to be just the decals its going to be the entire car custom rocker cover custom seat desgins that sort of stuff. pending what the customer wants

id say its worth doing ive been looking around for someone to change the white of my cooper to black for some time now and i havent found anyone as yet so could pull in some good buisness!

I like the idea, but seeing loads of BTM minis about? wouldnt it just kill the point of a mini?

like i said in previous posts its not goign to be just the rook and graphics the whole car will look differnt arches which im going to design custom consoles and stuff like that

so its a similar thing to coachbuilding, like wood and pickett used to be
or even really like john cooper garages

as long as the work is top notch i cant see why it wouldnt take off.

Yeah similar to to cooper garages or even charisma in essex :D thanks for the feedback will be taken in to carefull consideration :thumbsup:
