i think that there is a place for this kind of thing but u can only really do a limited run of each style sort of thing. like i said before it would have to be work to the highest standard which i'm sure is the plan as u are doing this in a couple of years with more experience skills etc. i'd love to see this work out for u and it will but u need to offer a little bit more ie. john cooper garages gave the a series a bit more poke, wood and pickett made bespoke interiors and im sure theres others but what i'm tryin to say is u'l need to give the whole car an upgrade not just the decals and seats(all u wrote in the 1st post, cant remember if u said anything after?!?!)

alot of the guys on here are highly respected professionals and are better off as friends not enemies and are only trying to help. so best of luck and if u need any help smile sweetly and swing u'r head to the mini forum!!!!!!

and kahunas for apologisin!!!

Well done. The best thing is age is on your side. Us old guys do love to see some one do well, wish i was 25 again.
One great thing about classic Minis you can learn it all, just takes a bit of time. When young,to long ago i went to the scrap yard and bought a 1300cc engine to learn on.Stripped every part and inspected it with HAYNES M. then put it all in boxs tins and jars for spares. My mates all liked popping in when they needed a part.In my day first car many wanted was a Mini the scrap yards were packed full of them for spares and so cheap.
Its always a good idea to keep things as a hobby as long as posible.I did with my Art bus. and it worked.Well for a few years.Another good point is that you have got all are interest in your plans.I sure that there must be a fair few on here with there bus. ideas to share with you.
