ITS RUNNING !!!! finally realized that I was 1 tooth out on the dizzy drive , so its been adjusted for the and we have got the timing all set up, ran it for about 40-50 seconds to get the idle ok and then we raised and dropped the revs for a little just to get it have done a full heat cycle, after that we set the ignition timing and it seems to run ok, not going to run it now until I drive it, shouldn't take to long to get it all sorted so I am aiming for the 7th to get to ace café for the MOD n MINI night so its game on for the next couple of weeks and then its good to go its all very exciting now and I wasn't being that silly only problem is that my speedwell rev counter doesn't seem to be reading correctly from the coil, will try a proper connection and see if I get the reading that I require if not I will just get a smiths tacho !

Well yesterday and today have been very productive we got the lil bugga going which has been a major step with he car but also mentally
Today I have to remove all the electrics to reroute them all so that the interior and the engine bay is all Tidy and Tucked, so I have had a busy day, I had to use my cumax cutters to get the speedo drive, sorted and re routed the water temp sender, secured the overflows to the inner near side wing, I put on the ram pipes and the air filters and secured them tested my Speedwell Rev counter after 40 years it still works, so mounted it up into the dash, and it looks awesome ! even if I say myself

Test fitted my seat today and it's mega comfy, to the stage of had it set up in my room watching films and falling asleep

I have got the locks all in place, bonnet on, and a few other odds and sods, pedals all secured, hazard light switch mounted, tucked out of the way so it doesn't look modern, waiting for my interior to turn up from newton commercial, carpet set, and Monte Carlo interior set
tartan red!
Next couple of days I need to adjust the seat mounts and then bolt them in and then go for a drive
