You need to watch out for clearance on the inlet and exhaust manifold, I had to have the inlet manifold to cylinder head face machined at an angle to clear the exhaust manifold and that was with a cooper freeflow and a inlet manifold that had the carb sitting as 90 degrees to the cylinder line. This may not be an issue with other manifolds.

Parts are not a problem, Southern Carburetors have all the parts available.

And while it does fit under the bonnet it is a close fit, though not helped in my case with the manifold angled slightley thus raising the carb upwards.

Cheers for that mate, good way of getting round that problem...hmm im gonna have a butchers round southern Carbs now!
