yep,started cutting today.gonna get him right down on his ass lol.only had a small amount of time to play today but managed to get the drivers side cut out and new metal cut to go back in.

also fitted the head and cam carrier,but im still waiting for a cam to come in from holland

thought it was about time i updated this thread.ive been busy the last few weeks moving business premises and getting it all set up and running right,which has given me time to think what i want to do with sorting vini out and also time to order some more goodys for him ive decided he needs a new colour scheme and i spent today stripping him down ready for some metal work and prepping for new paint subframe is off ready to be stripped down and repainted.gonna build up the engine in the subby then mount the car on it.also added a few more bits to the engine but still havent had a chance to go get my cam Dean

You need to get an aftermarket ECU and some jenvey throttle bodies for that engine now.

Racing down to riv 2012 isnt going to be as fun when your in the distance ahead of me.


You taking it to any shows this year? Would be good to get it at MITP.

omg youve done so much since i seen it at the show

had a few hours out in the shed tonight so got on with fitting the cam.all old parts replaced with new parts and all lubed up lol

spent ages trying to get the cam belt on then realised the new adjustable duplex is bigger than the old one lol
will have to order a longer belt


and the post man arrived with this today 2.8kg without the ring gear,any tips on getting my old ring gear off the old flywheel?Dean.

had a few hours out in the drive today so out with the angel grinder and off with the roof ready for some carbon fibre also finished off welding inner arch and rear floor Dean

lol,wont be ready for any of this years shows,got so many more mods to do and money to spend but time is limited at the moment.as long as its ready for next years riv run i will be happy
probably take the vectra up to mitp Dean

yeah got bored with the scooby,got offered a nice 2.6v6 vectra sri,so been using that the last few months but now sold that and bought a 2.2 vectra instead lol.
been out in the drive today and finally got round to making some progress on the first arch i started tubbing.still got a lot of sanding and more filling to do but atleast it looks like im getting somewhere lol Dean
