Bought a pair of door seals for it, my passenger one does more worse than good and my drivers side one just looks old...

Really did quite a lot for once.
Used the weekend to diagnose speedometer problems on the wife's mini, resulting in going as far as extracting the pinion and worm drives for replacement. I found the problems, got to use several new tools and managed to do everything and get packed up before rain set in.
Before even starting all of that I taxed my own one, topped up everything that needed topping up, checked everything over and got it started. Started up without a single issue. Winter is now over. Woo!

Now I just need to wait for her to get back from the shops so I can jump start it, as the last thing she did before I started my investigations was to leave the lights on and flatten the battery *slow clap*
Theoretically, once we get her started back up again we'll not only have a working speedo, but, thanks to a change of worm drive, she should actually give an accurate speed!!!

Fitted the new 65 amp alternator and new HT leads, and dizzy cap, then checked, and adjusted, the timing/emissions. I fitted a new 065 battery, spark plugs, rotor arm, points and condenser yesterday.

Best thing you can do for reliability, I really don't know why some people insist on sticking with points "because its original" - its like saying Rickets is cool because its a retro disease...!
