On Friday after the MOT I went over the whole car with Finesse-It which got rid of the swirl marks in my paint then I waxed it (2 coats), cleaned up the bumpers by getting rid of bits with wet and dry, then put Rain-X (similar product anyway) on all the windows. Best it's looked whilst sitting on my drive Today... new alternator plug which ideally needs reheating as I don't think the solder melted properly, but I also found a paddling pool in the passenger side footwell, drilled a hole and the water seems to be coming in the rear bins somehow so I will have to chase that and find out where the hole/s is/are.

I'm 17 tomorrow so I'll be getting insurance and going out for a drive :)

I discovered if you leave an electrical item on it drains the battery and leaves you scratching your head trying to figure it all out. Next item for the MPi - headlight buzzer!

I tried to fix my indicator, I failed. Could any of you guys and gals help me. The left indicator does what it should. It ticks on and off but the right just stays on constant. No on-off action. What's that about?

Ideally you should search and make a thread in it as this isn't really a help thread..

Pulled the spare runabout engine out, fitted a front swaybar and replaced the steering rack.

Next on the list is clean engine bay, fit rear sway bar and install rebuilt race engine. Will now be a 1380 as the 1430 crank died a violent death.
