Managed to get most of the electrics working 😃

Took the front end and inner wing back off again after it took me the best part of a day to fit..

Fitted new tie bar bushes, and failed to fit fixed neg camber radius arm brackets because the holes are wrong in the brackets :-(

removed sump guard (came with car) as I read they're pretty redundant for road use and can cause over-heating

 

Any ideas for 'up-cycling'.?

Took the battery out and used it to jump start my modern reliable workhorse diesel Honda.

Went to my granddads and he made me some brass knobs using his lathe for me to use with my seat locking mechanism. Then I made some changes and fitted my seats which now lock down (so it's mot worthy) then I fitted my new water hose which split last week and now I just need a new jubilee clip.

Had a megajolt fitted, unfortunately the trigger wheel was machined wrong (Unnoticeable till it's running) had to order a new one but the mini did live briefly after 6 months of nothingness.

Adjusted my carb and ordered a new speedo dial

Fitted a new exhaust bracket tidied up battery cable with new p clips and fastened pot joint gators
Also got my headlights working (loose wire)
