Fitted these articulated bonnet hinges over the weekend!

fantastic.. do the hinges also hold the bonnet up?

I took this picture before I fitted the gas struts, at this stage it was like 7 hours of fitting haha. But yeah they did to an extent, although I wouldn't use them in the vertical position without the struts.

New front doughnut arrived from Mini spares this morning

I'm getting good at fitting them now - 1 hour flat, I had already taken the damaged one off though  Took it for a spin and all good, still firm but a much more comfortable ride, same height on both sides and I didn't bang my head on the roof going slowly over a speed bump.

Took my Mini to SETyres (Tunbridge Wells Branch) for 2 new 165/60x12 Yokohama tyres to be fitted, not only were they the cheapest price at £131.60 (including valves, balancing and disposal of old tyres) but they were extremely careful over the whole process, the supervisor asked where I would like the car jacked up, whether I wanted chrome valves and was there a preferred torque for the wheel nuts and instructed the fitter to be careful with the polished rims. The job was completed promptly and courteously with no damage to the wheels.

Fitted a new clip to the bonnet prop, that should stop it dropping on my head

New genuine Mini Spares front and rear stainless steel bumpers fitted.

I finally received my spares for my 'new' bonnet, just the push I needed to carry on.
The donor spares are up for sale now:D

New brake servo and master cylinder after work, only took a couple of hours with bleeding.

Went better than I expected

Stuck door stickers on for this weekends' trek to the Revival at Goodwood. Only 325km from Diksmuide, Belgium!
