Peeped at it through the vent in it's Trikehome. Then got back to welding up my Morris Minor traveller

Cool interior!!  Never seen that before, was it custom made?  Looks very like the Mk.1 MG Metro, though it was light grey.   Would look epic with red carpet and seat belts.

great looking mini

Friday I changed the oil and filter on my Corsa C daily, then stripped some parts from my mark 6 fiesta that's getting scrapped next week.

Also fired up the minis for 10 minutes... no nasty noises and they both still move under their own power ?

Tidied up its house.

Turns out my garage is bigger than I thought,.. and I accumulate clutter inexplicably.

When I rebuilt my 1275GT I fitted a laminated screen. Finally today I decided to clean the original toughened screen and store it in a safer place. I checked the date and it was December 1971. Even more impressive was how it doesn’t have those little nicks and chips you get on modern screens!! Very happy it survived all those years so well and maybe it will get fitted again one day when originality is important to me again.

Cleaned off all the dirt dried in the rear wheel arches as the subframe is out.

Found that whatever underseal had been applied in the past was cracking/peeling, and has caused a lot of surface rust behind it (only seems to be that one small hole, rest seems solid).

Drove my GT round the twisty Cheshire lanes chased by r kid in his Cooper. Got about 180 miles on the engine now, can't wait to get it set up properly so I can give it a thrashing

Changed the PAS pump on my R50 Cooper JCW. Pretty simple, but could have done with getting the car higher than the ramps I used allowed, the rear fixing bolt location meant working blind. All sorted now.
