Cleaned up the passenger rear arch and removed the old failed seam sealer.

Then poked a cursty looking patch and found another rust hole.

more trail fitting of the boot floor fits well now need to blank the fuel pipe hole made a plate up with one hole flared as the original also revived a new master cylinder on a ebay find but its a bit bigger then I realised its just the reservoir that's bigger everything else is the same so I think it will still work ok.

Can't wait to get my hands on steel and see if it sounds interesting too.
Quite hard to bend cardboard tubes...so I didn't try and made some descriptive bends. Stil need to finish the lid and then I can fit it near my floor and see what need to go and cut up that subframe too. ?

Taken some pic of it today as its insurance time and agree valuation time hence the pics, even though its on SORN atm, due to the dreaded emissions fail MOT a few weeks ago. Its not as though it will be going out anywhere for a while even if it had an MOT.

Found myself using Solvol Autosol Black on my air filter case!

Time for a shopping trip, I think.

Extra lower engine stabiliser fitter to my 1275 British Open Classic.

wanted to fit one on the clutch side but as it already has one here the additional one couldn’t be fitted as they share mounting bolts.
I was going to weld the brackets together but I’m hoping that with 3 stabilisers now the engine will be firm.
stay safe everyone

Made myself some rocker cover bolts and seat belt bolt covers. Work good do the job. This was my first try so I will make some changes and improve the finish next time I make them.

I've not been on TMF for a life time and hope to become active again. I've done a fair few little odd jobs the last few weeks. I know the topic is about what you've done today but I need a catch up.

New alarm fitted.
Replaced front light bullet connectors for more modern connectors.
Replaced broken inline fuse holder (hazards)
Got rid of a nasty pitted chrome number plate housing and painted and fitted a replacement.
Repaired the interior light (new bulb and cleaned connections).
Tidied some wiring up front.
Got the wipers working properly again (Speed 2 works again!)
Fitted some new 4inch speakers to my dash to replace the airvents.
Replaced the breather pipe on the fuel tank as the old one cracked and broke. Hopefully no more petrol fumes.

That's all for now.
