Installed a third brake light

because the average SUV driver won't look down to the rear lights but ahead (into his bright future).

And a headlight reminder buzzer to avoid the trouble of a flat battery while out with the family (again).

Before it was time to enjoy the Mini with my wife during a 80 km round trip in the October sun

Cheers from the Pied Piper's town

Swore at mine. My recently re-cored Coventry radiator appears to be leaking :shy:

Finally finished my drum to disc conversion. . What a nightmare of a job that can be.. oversized shaft on CV joint and crap new bearings. Doesn't pay to buy conversion kit on ebay. Bought new CV joint from Minisports along with some timken bearings.

Fitted a new coil and secured the rev counter as it was vibrating! Also cleaned the engine bay and went to multi story to make some noise 😁😁

Actually "done" nothing to the car but my winter refresh parts have arrived from Minispares.

Front drums

Front brake shoes

Front wheel bearings

Top and bottom ball joints

Just waiting for a delivery of some enthusiasm now so i can get on with stripping and fitting them all :proud:

Purchased a 5/16 UNC Die to rethread the Minispares Quickshift  gear lever that I fitted last week, this allowed me to fit my new gear knob

Took it for a run and it feels so much better to drive with the shorter shift travel :proud:

And for the first time in nearly 2 years the engine fired up in the car, to temperature.
Big thanks to Oz, my mate Neal, the old man and anyone else

Hmm, the enthusiasm delivery has been delayed, so in the meantime I have done exactly the right thing. Yip, nothing.

I tell a lie actually, I did put some fuel preservative in the half full fuel tank, then went and topped it up with Super Unleaded, only as it's a dry sunny day here, and now it's ready to hibernate over the winter.

Took it on a 20 min run, got everything warmed through, realise how much i'll miss driving it till the spring.
