I reckOn it will be a well close race to be honest. Mind you, youll have a bucketfull of lag and torque steer   By the time you get to the end of the strip, you would have done 3/4s of a mile with the amount youll be swerving down the track

No not at all just from what people are saying it would be pointless having the turbo on a 7 port and trying to seal or have sealed webbers like ed's which would be hard to find.

Tell me your kidding  A turbo'd 7 port would be quality!! Its certanly not pointless. Mini shows would be boring if everyone said that. I think you should ditch the weber idea and fit a HIFF 44 with a plenumn. Cheap, easy and bloody effective. And youve still got the sweet sound of turbo whistle and dump valve blow off  It would be so easy I think. Its only the webers that are the problem with turbo installs. Unless they are be sucked through.

 OK FOR THE LAST TIME ALL IVE WANTED TO DO IS TURBO A 7PORT AND THATS ALL IVE EVER WANTED   but from what people had said it seemed pointless having a powerfull head then having a turbo wouldn't do much but i will see what can be done. But im unsure on the set up of 44's on the 7 port dont you need a adaptor for them. If i can turbo a 7 port then i will do it.

Give me like 5 minutes and Ill put up a very quick scetch of how to do it. Nothing is ever pointless when it comes to things like this. If your fitting a 7 Port along side a turbo, it just means you dont have to boost the motor as much as a 5 port to get the same power. Also, the inner two cylinders wont run slightly leaner than the outer two like they do on a 5 port. The more you think about it, the more it makes sence

Well heres the quick scetch. Sorry its not the best but all my pencils are tucked away in my cupboard. I think this will work perfectly. If you was to use injection, just dump the Su and fit the injectors on the outlets of the plenumn. sorted

I bet you would have more room fitting a plenumn to the side of the head rather than a pair of webers and filters. Remember you will have to have a plenumn in front of the webers/throttle bodies anyway to feed them with the compressed air. If the pipes in the way of the rad, just run it the other way. Its not like its going to be in the way of a carb cause there isnt one at the back of the head.

Not if the plenumns got the right ammount of tapper on it. If your thinking the carb cant flow enough, Ive seen them flow enogh for 225+bhp. Putting 2 on means that youll have to set and match them perfectly then. With the single, each cylinder is getting the same fuel mix.
