we may go injection as well for those winter starts

Does this mean you've seen the light  seriously though you don't need to use all four thottle bodies if you didn't want to, they taper from 50mm down to 38mm

Ever thought of doing a super charger / turbo conversion to eliminate all that turbo lag, the way i see it get a knackered turbo, chop the turbines off leaving the compressor and weld a small pulley onto the turbine shaft, then on the engine weld the biggest pulley you can and hey prestos try and make it fit!!! You would need a valve in the system so that when the turbo's pressure becomes greater than the superchargers it would swap over.

Good luck

Sure you don't want fuel injection

I've got some twin 45's on my westy there good for power but drivability is naf, i'm converting to fuel injection using a megasquirt ecu which will control the spark using a zetec coil pack and the fuel through some gsxr 750 throttle bodies. Megasquirt has just added a mod to there new ecu which will allow for turbo's water injection and loads of other goodies. If you fit a wide band sensor you will never need to rr the car its fully tuneable from inside via some cheapo laptop!!!

I have only just started the conversion so i'm new to it but the costs so far are

throttle bodies £45
ECU £190

This conversion i reckon will cost me less than i will sell the webers for people have done it for less than £500, i'm pretty sure it would be easier with the throttle bodies as they take up half the space of webers, the gsxr one come apart in to singles so you can respace them to suit the manifold.

Just some food for thought.....................

Ive never really thought how much bhp i'll be putting out i aint got a clue
