So I picked up Sonic with his fresh mot, and decided to get him washed and cleaned inside.

He got a lot of attention and pictures taken and the guy who cleaned him, spent ages on him! Much longer than on any other car, which was awesome!

Then I got his interior out of storage, and despite keeping it carefully wrapped up it needed a quick clean, so i got to work

 

 

I bought the interior from Retro Retrims a long time ago, and am only now getting round to fitting it. its great interior, and makes the world of difference, i highly recommend Retro Retrims for anyone needed a good interior 

 

I then pulled out the rest of my little bits and pieced i never got round to fitting

 

Center console i bought on sale at MITP years ago for £20, it needed a bit of work as the screws used just wernet up to the job and it fell apart before it even got put in the car, so i upgraded all the screws and gave it a bit of love. 

 

 

Now i loved my custom sonic chrome gear knob, but i saw this on a website and had to have it. I dont follow astrology, but i am a Scorpio and thought this was a nice personalized custom touch and a little different, it also helps brighten up the interior and just add that something custom and different i always just to go for

 

 

I also had a few stickers and a cheap usb powered fan to put in. the fan is a much needed addition! with a tiny pick up cabin and only tiny small sliding windows it gets really, really got in there and it has the mk1 blower, which is believe it or not, worse than the normal mini fans for ventilating the cabin! 

i also had a relentless sticker, but i am gutted that i seem to have lost it. but i do love my breaking bad Heisenberg sticker!

first off, i fitted the dash liners and the fan

then the door cars, these were a bit of a pain! the amount of times i caught my fingers!!!!

then my favorite part, the headlining. 

 

man i love this headlining! Its lush as hell.... i just need to make sure i never wear any hair wax or gel, i dont want to leave a mark on the room! 

 

i just need to upgrade the sun visor /s as the one in it is really manky! I do have something in mind for sun visors, which would be great but in true me fashion, they are more unique and different which should work nice. 

Retro retrims did a great work in the dash liner, head lining and door cards.

i then fitted the new stickers, but when the car gets a rebuild over christmas i am going to order a new rear screen and again go for something a little different, (either land rover sliding glass which would be awesome as it would match the sliding side windows, or i would go for a sun roof style opening rear window. im leaning towards the land rover sliding rear at the moment. i do prefer the solid glass look, but i need to get more air circulating in the car or im going to pass out in traffic oneday! But i also like the "custom'ness" of an opening rear window

 

i have lots more stickers, and will put the relentless one on as well if it ever turns up but when i get the new screen, i will most likely go to martin at stickey fingers and ask him if he could replicate all of my stickers (and i am sure i will order some new ones!

it gives it a bit of a mystical feel and along with the center console, brings a bit of colour back in to the now black and dark cabin

The back windows looking a little busy now... i'm about done for now, might take a couple off and change with others but I am happy with it. I know its not everyones taste, but who cares! :)
